I'm back!

So mommy's feeling better and I have some new pics of me from this week. I've been so good for her while she was recovering too. Yay for me being such a little angel!

Breif hiatus

Mommy has strep throat, which is why she didn't get to type my posts for yesterday or the day before. It's very sad, she is miserable. There are white blisters on her tonsils. :( She said she will feel better soon though and then I can get the ball rolling again.

In the meantime I'm gonna be very busy being a good boy for her. I'll be back in a day or two.

A day at the fair

We went to the LA Fair today.


There were lots of people to look at.
My favorite part was the farm area with all the animals.

Daddy took me inside the petting zoo and I got kisses from a goat.


I also saw little piglets, mommy said they were babies like me.


They didn't have changing tables in the restrooms though and that upset me. Mommy had to crouch down in the corner of the bathroom and change me in my stroller.

I hate that! They didn't have any at the LA Convention Center either. I'm going to start advocating for babies everywhere! More establishments need to provide changing tables.

When we were leaving we saw this silly guy and he gave mommy a kiss!!! Only me & daddy are supposed to do that!


All in all it was a pretty good day though. I'm super pooped (quite literally too) from the day so I'm off to baby dream land.

Long time, no post

I can't believe it's been 4 days since I posted! I've been so busy playing that I nearly forgot about my blog. lol! I've had a little cough for the last few days too, but no fever. Mommy says extra rest is good for me, so I've added a night time nap before my official bedtime this week.

I didn't get to go to the fair today because of the stupid rain :(
But mommy and daddy said it's open next weekend too, so maybe we'll go then if the weather permits.

The last one is what happens if I spend too long doing tummy time. Not my favorite. It's very frustrating when you're trying to go FORWARD to get a neat toy but every time you try you scoot a few inches BACKWARD further away from it! HMPH! Life is so hard as a baby.

Well I'm off to do more cool baby things. I'll try to be back more often then I was this week!

No pics today :(

So mommy couldn't take any pictures of me today because the batteries in the camera are dead. I'm a little glad because I know the face I must have been making when she fed me the Gerber beef tonight must have been really silly because she was giggling and kept telling daddy to look. It was icky and smelled like cat food. Thankfully she put it away after a few bites and broke out the nana's for me. I liked eating with mommy and daddy tonight. We all went to Islands for dinner. Usually mommy feeds me then eats, but tonight we all ate together. I felt like such a big boy!

There were people who came in to the table across from us just as we were finishing and they came over and oohed and awed over me just because I was playing with mommy's cell phone (Which happens to be my one of my favorite toys! Mommy even gave me her spare one that is not hooked up so I stop accidentally calling Auntie Amber and the bank.) The man said I was a little genius and how adorable it was for me to have my own little computer. He made his wife come over to see me. I get that a lot. Mommy says its usually women who love baby's but even grown men stop her to tell her how cute I am. Once we were at Target and Tootie from The Facts of Life and her Grandma came over to me and wanted to see me. I got my daddy's boyish good looks ;)

It's late now so it's time for me to get some rest but tomorrow Mommy says we'll get batteries for the camera and we can take some new pictures of me doing all my new stuff I've learned like sticking out my tongue and sitting up all on my own. My big round tummy's got some new muscles behind it, I can even go from laying down to sitting up by myself! But I'm too tired now.

Weekend wrap-up

Wow, Nextfest was a lot of fun! That's where's mommy, daddy, daddy's friend Linda and I all went on Saturday. There were a lot of cool colored lights and moving things for me to look at, and lots of people to watch! My favorite was the California Science Center Animatronics exhibit. There were stuffed animals that moved and sang to me!!! Mommy says they were all made by kids too. I hope I get to do something cool like that one day. I think my cousin Jimmy would be good at stuff like that. Here are some picture of some of the things we saw...The camera died before we saw the animatronics :(

After Nextfest I went to go hang out with grandma and Steve for awhile. We had fun. They give me LOTS of attention so it's always a good time at their house. They have crazy puppies :)

On Sunday we hung out at home then went shopping. Somehow mommy and daddy got my favorite toy to make it's silly sounds again as soon as we left the store. It's looks so shiny and clean too. I was so happy. Mommy and daddy also got me all kinds of new foods that are thicker and better tasting and I got to try some on Sunday. Apparently I love blueberries. Mommy says they're full of antioxidants that are good for me because they fight free radicals and boost my immune system. I just know they taste so yummy.

Well I think it's time for me to play now. Bye!

Hello World

Hello world!
















Today is my first blog post, and I am very excited to join the rest of the world online! My mommy will have to type for me for awhile, since I'm not quite sure that I'll have the hand eye coordination to do it myself for sometime. I figure I can use this blog to keep in touch with family, like my dear Auntie Amber & Grandma Lynn, and even let Daddy see what I'm doing during the day while he's hard at work earning all the money it takes to feed me then buy the requisite diapers to keep my little bum clean. :)

Mommy says that she'll take pictures of me everyday to put with each post so we can record my growth in this wonderful digital age I am so lucky to grow up in.

Today was quite uneventful so far. Oatmeal & applesauce for breakfast. Rice & nana's for lunch. I took a nice long nap in the early afternoon but I'm still a little cranky. I thinks my teeths are coming! I got this cool new round toy that mommy busted out of the refrigerator that feels REALLY good on my gums when I bite down. But all the drool is irritating my chin(s).

I did learn something cool yesterday though. Mommy & daddy have been sticking their tounges out at me and making a funny sound for a few weeks now, and I wasn't quite sure why, but last night I did it back and mommy got so excited, I think thats what she was looking for. I love it so much when people smile and get excited so I've been doing it nonstop today to illicit her reaction and it seems to be working. Yay for me!

Well, it's almost 5pm, which is tummy time, so I'm gonna go play now. Even though I'm just gonna roll over I do enjoy scooting around on the ground, and afterward I get to eat, which everyone knows is my FAVORITE thing!
